Little and large...experience

Believe it or not, I do actually mean experience. Seamus Brennan gave the new candidates an extremely insightful talk at the Ard-Fheis on campaign strategy. He has years of practical campaign experience and us "newbies" learned a lot. Now is time to put them into practice.

We also had a good chat about the progress that's being made in social welfare - this year, almost E1 out of every E3 the Government is spending is targetted at entitlements, supports and social services. Of course there is still work to be done, but that figure is a good reminder of the work that's being done on social justice in Ireland 2006.
