Johnny and Tommy

Just up this morning having been at Johnny Brady's brilliant midnight rally in Kells. What a wonderful night.

There were loads of people there from my end of North Meath who are losing Johnny to Meath West and, as it were, gaining me. Johnny gave me an endorsement to beat all endorsements and told the hundreds gathered to work as hard for me as they did for him over the years. It was humbling and even a little scary but in the last year I have many many friends in North Meath and they are always encouraging, helpful and loyal. I already owe them a huge amount. Let's hope I repay them with a Dail seat.
