NEW BUS SERVICE FOR CARLANSTOWN

I am delighted to announce that Bus Eireann have been granted a licence by the Department of Transport to operate the Bailieboro to Dublin Route 108 service via Carlanstown. This is great news for the travelling public in Carlanstown and follows strong representation on my part to the Regional Bus Eireann Manager. The proposal for a Bus Eireann service through Carlanstown had been put to me by a local resident. I have been told the service will begin operation in early May.
