FUNDING FOR KILMAINHAMWOOD

I warmly welcome the news that Meath County Council have allocated €18,000 of funding towards the provision of footpaths outside Kilmainhamwood Church.

Following representations made to me by locals, I contacted the Area Engineer fully supporting that this footpath be provided for the residents of Kilmainhamwood. I am pleased that this funding has been granted under the Community Grants Scheme.

I am told that the work will commence on the footpath later this year. This will provide safe pedestrian access to and from Kilmainhamwood Church for residents so this is great news. I take this opportunity to praise local Councillors in helping to secure this funding.
