Top Dogs in the constituency

This week saw the visit of the Taoiseach, minister Dermot Ahern and Minister Mary Harney to the constituency. Brian and Dermot came to visit Bellewstown Races where my party had a tent to fundraise for the local elections. The Taoiseach gave a speech which reminded everyone there why he was Taoiseach.

Mary Harney came to Stamullen to open the Redwood Extended Care Facility on Friday. I spent the afternoon with the other politicians present - Cllrs Tom Kelly and Jimmy Cudden and some local residents. It is a great example of the private sector coming in and developing really worthwhile projects which benefit the state and, most importantly, the public patient.
